Carrying a case from the consultation into long-term care

Ayurvedic care often runs over months. AyurDoc carries the case from the first consult into treatment planning and follow-up, so each visit starts from what was learned before instead of starting cold.

A single consultation is rarely the whole story in Ayurveda. Treatment plans run for weeks or months, and progress is judged against where the patient started.

The problem with visit-by-visit software

If each visit is a separate document, the practitioner rebuilds context every time: re-reading notes, re-asking questions, re-deciding the plan. That is slow, and it is where continuity breaks.

What AyurDoc does

The case carries forward. The structured note from the first consult feeds treatment planning, and later visits can be compared with earlier ones. Matching prior visits can be surfaced during the consult.

Why structure makes this possible

Continuity depends on the first note being structured. Causes, development, constitution and plan recorded consistently can be compared across months. A free-text paragraph cannot.

The general point

In chronic and long-term care, the software's job is to make the second, fifth and tenth visit faster than the first. Design for the follow-up, not just the intake.
