THC CDSS
A secure clinical decision support platform for Total Health Centers, an insurance-friendly integrative medicine practice. AI-assisted assessments help physicians identify root causes and plan personalised 12-week heart, brain and longevity programs.
The problem
Total Health Centers combines modern medicine, Ayurveda and AI-assisted diagnostics in structured 12-week programs. Assessing a patient across those disciplines and turning it into a treatment plan is a lot for one physician to hold in their head, visit after visit.
My role
Product design and the build: the assessment workflow, the clinician experience and the secure web application.
What it does
- Guides the care team through an AI-assisted clinical assessment.
- Helps physicians identify likely root causes rather than treating symptoms one at a time.
- Turns the assessment into a personalised plan inside THC's 12-week program structure.
Decisions behind it
- Decision support, not decision making. The physician stays responsible for the diagnosis and the plan; the software prepares and organises.
- Built around the clinic's programs. The output maps to the heart, brain and longevity programs patients actually enroll in.
- Authorized clinicians only. Every page sits behind sign-in because it handles patient information.
Where it is now
THC CDSS runs for Total Health Centers' care team at thc-cdss.ai. Because it handles patient data, I can't show the inside publicly, and I'm not publishing clinical outcome numbers. I can walk through it on a call.
